MGM Villa Names — Privacy Policy

MGM Villa Names is a browser extension designed to assist authorised My Group Manager (MGM) users with transferring traveller names from MGM to a Villa guest registration website.

2. Information processed

The extension reads traveller names displayed on the MGM Villa Traveller List page. This information is used solely to populate guest name fields on the Villa registration website.

3. Storage and retention

Traveller names are temporarily stored in the user's browser to facilitate the transfer between websites.

Captured traveller lists are intended to expire after 30 minutes. Users can manually delete the stored list using the extension's “Forget Traveller List” function.

4. Data sharing

The extension does not independently transmit traveller names to the extension developer's servers or third-party analytics services.

When the user submits the completed Villa registration form, the information is transmitted to the Villa website under that website's own privacy practices.

5. Data usage

Traveller information is used exclusively for the extension's stated functionality.

The extension does not use traveller information for advertising, marketing, profiling, creditworthiness assessments or lending purposes.

6. Browser permissions

The extension uses browser permissions to access relevant webpages, execute scripts for transferring traveller names and temporarily store information within the browser.

7. User control

Users can remove stored traveller names using the extension's “Forget Traveller List” function and uninstall the extension through their browser's extension settings.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the extension's functionality or data-handling practices.
